We are pleased to accommodate “change of mind” returns within 14 days for all online hair extensions orders that have not been opened, worn or tampered with and security stickers as well as packaging are still intact and in perfect condition. If the stickers are removed from the outer packaging box, it indicates that the extensions have been opened and we will not be able to provide a refund as hair extensions are considered a hygienic product. Please note that the original delivery cost paid is non-refundable and returns will be at the customer's cost. All returns must be shipped to us with your preferred tracked shipping option. We are not responsible for lost returns and lost returns will not be refunded.

If your return does not comply with our policy and is unable to be accepted, your order will be returned and a small shipping fee is liable to be paid by the customer.

The good news is that all sets of seamless clip-in extensions will come with a tester piece in a separate docket/pouch which will be sent together with your extensions order. You should open and take the tester piece out first to determine if the color is a good match. Please note that the tester piece is part of the full extensions set and is required to be shipped back in its original condition, with your order for a refund.

No, because human hair extensions are considered to be a hygienic product. We take matters of hygiene and public safety seriously and do not allow opened items to be returned for the safety of all of our customers. Once your returns package arrives at our address, it will be inspected to ensure the security seals haven't been tampered with. If we find the seals have been tampered with, you will not receive a refund.

Yes, the tester piece is part of the full set and must be included with your order in its original condition. If the tester weft is not included, your refund may not be issued.

Clip-in hair extensions are a temporary solution that doesn’t require the assistance of a professional to apply and can be applied by yourself at home in a matter of minutes. Clip-in hair extensions is the least damaging option to your own hair. 

Volumi hair extensions are made with 100% real human hair. We recommend opting for human hair extensions as they will look the most natural, you'll be able to handle them exactly as you do your natural hair, and they'll last much longer. 

When you see weights listed with hair extensions, this is indicative of how thick the set will be (i.e. how much hair is attached to the wefts). Most companies will measure the weight of their extensions in grams - the higher the grams, the thicker the extensions will be. Our hair extensions range from 180 to 220 grams and will suit most of the hair types.

Semi-permanent hair extensions can cause some form of damage to your hair due to the bonding, gluing, and constant pulling from weight. While temporary hair extensions, like clip-ins, cause no damage to your own natural hair if worn properly (please do not sleep with your clip-in hair extensions). This is because they are simply clipped into the roots of your hair and are removed on a daily basis, so the hair pulling is minimal and can be limited. If you are concerned about your hair health or you are trying to grow your hair longer and healthier, we suggest opting for clip-in hair extensions or consulting with a hair extensions technician for a second opinion.

Clip-in hair extensions have clips sewn to the base of each weft. Those clips are then snapped open and applied to the roots of your hair and then snapped shut. Each weft is layered beneath your own hair to create an instantly longer and/or fuller look while remaining undetectable. Clip-in application takes minutes and doesn’t cause damage to your own hair. 

The most important factors when choosing the right color of hair extensions are to consider the undertones such as warm or cool in your hair and choosing the colour that matches your hair ends. 

We recommend taking a look at your hair in natural lighting (best if facing a window or outside in natural sunlight) and examine the colors you see in your hair. If you see yellow or golden hues throughout your hair, you may have warm undertones. If you see blue or green hues throughout your hair, you likely have cool undertones. If in doubt, reach out to us for advice and we’ll try our best to help you choose.

You can treat Volumi human hair extensions just like your own hair. This includes the ability to wash, dye, and heat style it. 

When dyeing real human hair extensions, it’s best to steer clear of any bleach as this can damage the quality of the hair, especially of the blonde shades which have already been colour or bleach treated. While it is made of real human hair and can take to dye, this may result in a quality change that may be difficult to reverse. Unlike our own hair which is constantly being revitalized by the natural oils on our scalp, hair extensions will not get that same form of natural moisturizer, and as a result it may require more upkeep and care. 

Just like your own hair, real human hair extensions can be washed. It’s safe to use gentle shampoos and conditioners that you’d use on your own natural hair, however, it is recommended to be cautious of using products that include harsh ingredients that can dry out the hair, including sulfates and alcohols.

Before using any heat tools, we recommend to spray heat protectant onto your extensions as you would your normal hair, and use a low to medium heat setting (up to 150C for blonde colours). Ensure the tool is constantly moving on your extensions and never static in one place for too long in order to prevent heat damage and breakage. 

Clip-ins will have a longer lifespan as you don't wear them consistently as you would semi-permanent extensions which are in your hair 24/7. The lifespan of Volumi hair extensions is anywhere from 3 months to a year, depending on their usage and how well they are cared for and maintained.
